usage, that the operator would be responsible for repair or replacement depending on the
damage(s) caused, furthermore I would expect the operator to take over full and complete
maintenance of the road they use for hauling.
3) 1 disagree with Exhibit 5#5a,there should be no disagreement as to the visibility of the mine site
from Routt County road #129. It is visible today, was visible yesterday and will be visible
tomorrow....a complete eyesore/scar to the traveling public and the neighborhood.
4) Exhibit 5#9a whoever wrote this document believes the neighbor are dumb, naive, or they wish
to simply cover up the fact that the neighbors will have impacts. I believe they are simply
ignoring and do not want to respond to the impacts that a large (in terms of trips volume and
volume of product sold) commercial gravel pit will have on the neighbors and neighborhood
and they in fact do not intend to mitigate anything; noise back-up beepers, dust, traffic, diesel
smoke. How do they intend to mitigate interactions with other users? I do not know it is not in
the application. How do they intend to interact with kids on bicycles, horse riders??
5) Routt County and the people that live here have a strong conservation ethic as evidenced by
taxing themselves for conservation and preservation. Ironically the ranch virtually joining this
property is under a conservation easement, it seems that if needed a sand and gravel operation
could be placed in a less sensitive area.
Thank-you for your time.
Regards,o-
T' r &f k h i oy o s re
970-846-2356
troy@mybrokers.com
