- Monitoring wells are located at the downstream edge (north of the north toe) of each TSF <br /> to monitor the water quality of water in the down gradient groundwater. <br /> - SPLP tests are conducted on the tailings quarterly and will be reported to DRMS in the <br /> Annual Report to ensure that the tailings are inert on an ongoing basis. <br /> - Waste rock cannot make up more than 20% of the material to be placed in the permanent <br /> TSFs to prevent void spaces which may reduce compaction and provide conduits for <br /> water flow. <br /> A monitoring program for groundwater and surface water is presented in Exhibit G and in <br /> Section 11 of this EPP.
