DRMS Adequacy Review #3 Comments Rationale AM07 Reference and Page Numbers <br />AR1 <br />As discussed in our phone call on Oct 15, please modify the AM07 <br />mining plan exhibit for elevations below 6,600 feet to specify a 40H:40V <br />bench configuration. This change will need to be reflected throughout <br />the mining plan text as appropriate, the mining plan maps, reclamation <br />plan maps, all cross sections, and <br />Observational Approach flow chart, as appropriate at this time. Table E1 <br />Total Fill volumes and the subsequent reclamation costs will also need <br />to be modified as needed for consistency. <br />A subsequent request to modify the mining and reclamation plans as <br />appropriate for a 40H:60V bench configuration for elevations below <br />6,600 feet may be submitted through the technical revision process for <br />DRMS approval if future geotechnical data and field conditions support <br />this modification <br />As requested, the following changes were made: <br />Exhibit D - Mining Plan, General Phase III Mining Approach and Phase III Quarry <br />Development Narrative, text has been updated to reflect 40H:40V bench <br />configuration below El. 6600 and to clarify that any benches steeper than a <br />40H:40V configuration require DRMS approval through the TR process. <br />Exhibit D.2 - Phase III mining plan and Exhibit D.2a-D.2c cross-sections have been <br />updated to reflect 40H:40V benches below El. 6600. <br />Exhibit D.3 - Observational Approach has been updated to include technical <br />revision and DRMS approval for benches steeper than a 40H:40V configuration. <br /> Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan, Table E1, Total Fill volumes, have been updated to <br />reflect changes to bench configuration. <br />Exhibit F.1, F.2, F.3, F.3a-F.3c have been updated to include 40H:40V benches <br />below El. 6600. <br />Exhibit L - Reclamation Cost Table L-7 was updated to address modifications to fill <br />volumes. <br />Exhibit D - Mining Plan, Phase III <br />Mining Approach, p. 16-17, Phase III <br />Quarry Development Narrative, p. 19; <br />Exhibit D.2, D.2a-D.2c, p. 22-25; <br />Exhibit D.3.
