I November 2021 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br />4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Ponds and stock tanks held water after recent rains, and some ponds were discharging at the time of <br />inspection. Pond banks and dam outslopes were in good repair and well vegetated. <br />o Ponds 6, held water and was discharging at the time of inspection. <br />o Stock tank T2 above pond 6 held a small amount of water. <br />o Ponds 16, held water and was discharging at the time of inspection. <br />SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE- Rule 4.12 <br />No recent slumping was observed. <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 <br />Most vegetation appeared dormant at this time of year although some cool season vegetation types appeared green <br />at the time of inspection as a result of recent rains. Vegetation is well established and mature throughout the site. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE— R ULE 4.18 <br />Wildlife is often observed throughout the Seneca IIW mine site. Wildlife observed comprised a variety of <br />waterfowl on the ponds. <br />INSPECTION, ENFORCEMENT and CIVIL PENALTIES — R ULE 5 <br />Inspections 5.02; Availability of Records <br />Permit documents were inspected. Please see records section below for records inventory. Most records are <br />available electronically in Ms. Kawcak's office.
