M-4-13. GRAVEL OPERATIONS ACCESS PLAN <br /> LOCATION: Portion of Dutton Ranch Parcel, FSR-6509 access to CR-600 <br /> Summary: The Oakbrush Hill Gravel operations will use the existing access roads across the <br /> parcel and connecting to CR-600 at Milepost 3.78R. All vehicle traffic associated with mining <br /> operations and haul of materials and equipment will use this access point, which is adequate for <br /> that traffic and will continue to be so if maintained properly. No changes except for additional <br /> signage are required or proposed. <br /> Purpose: In accordance with Section 5.3.1. The area to be mined is approximately 167 acres, with the plant area of 11.9 acres and <br /> active mining of the remaining area to be done in annual increments of 4-7 acres over the <br /> 20-year maximum life of the operation (plus some buffer zones, especially along the <br /> eastern and western edges. <br /> 3. The maximum life of the operation is 20 years by County Code. <br /> 4. Traffic characteristics: <br /> a. AADT is 64 personal vehicle equivalents (pve), based on 270 hauling days including <br /> 6 days of mobilization and approximately 50-100 days of processing (production) <br /> season each year, with 80% of haul occurring in 180 days and the remaining 20% in <br /> 90 days <br /> b. Peak daily trips are estimated at 117 PVE (21 truck round trips, 8 personal vehicle <br /> RT) <br /> c. Distribution: 90% of haul trips to the S, 10% to the N. No internal trips considered <br /> d. Peak hours 6-7 AM and 5-6 PM, M-F <br /> 5.
