Blasting was scheduled for later in the week. <br /> o Blast records were checked and records were up to date and filed appropriately. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—RULE 4.14 <br /> o Backfilling and grading is progressing as permitted. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS-Rule 4.15, Rule 3 <br /> The first parcels inspected were in the former A pit; parcels(AB 10 and Ab09). A constructed drainage <br /> runs through parcel AB10 on the east edge. Both parcels comprises a rangeland AB seed mix and <br /> Colorado State surface ownership. AB10 is an 83.5 acre parcel,drill seeded in November of 2010 and <br /> aerially in spring of 2011 exhibited outstanding species diversity and well established shrubs. Shrub <br /> species were well represented with various Artemisia(sages), Chrysothamnus(Rabbitbrushes),Purshia <br /> tridentata(bitter brush),and Rosa(roses). Perennial grasses consisted of Elymus cinereus(Basin <br /> wildrye),various Agropyron(wheatgrasses),Bromus marginatus(Mountain brome)among others with <br /> native perennials represented by Achillea millefolium(Western yarrow) and Linum lewisii(Lewis flax). <br /> Forage included Medicago sativa(alfalfa),Astragalus cicer(Cicer vetch). <br /> M <br /> u <br /> >t <br /> Photo 5: Overview ofparcel ABIO, looking east to NPit activities. <br /> Parcel AB09 is a 7.8 acre parcel having had 1.4 acres of the original parcel redisturbed for N Pit <br /> activities in 2020.
