Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste Y - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection encompassed a partial phase III bond release on 265.5 acres. The inspection was <br /> conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the Division. Graham Roberts, <br /> Trapper Mine representative,Jennifer Maiolo of the BLM and Ben Teschner of the Colorado State Land <br /> Board were present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear until about midday when clouds moved <br /> in. Temperatures ranged between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. There was a light breeze. The ground <br /> was dry. The inspections took place over one day with records checked on 5 October 2021. Ash,coal <br /> and overburden were being hauled. Haul roads were in good repair,passable and being watered <br /> throughout the day. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> SL23 <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> o Pond dredging in East Pyeatt and dozer basis has begun and will continue in Horse,Middle <br /> Flume,Deal systems and various dozer basins for some time. <br /> o Ditch reconstruction along the north edge of the N pit to handle surface flow. <br /> o Clearing vegetation below the flume at No Name Pond 45 is needed. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The Queen Anne is operating in the N pit. One dragline is operating,casting spoil in the L pit, and one <br /> dragline is idle. Activities in the L and N pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. <br /> Overburden was being hauled and placed in benches at N pit at the time of inspection. Coal was being <br /> loaded from the Q seam and coal and ash were being hauled. No offsite air quality or hydrologic issues <br /> were observed at the time of inspection. <br /> L pit activities were observed. The dragline operating in L pit was wasting spoil,building a new pad <br /> from which to work. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />
