FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />Elk were observed throughout the site. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The Final East Pit Ditch, North Trib. East Pit Ditch, Prospect Ditch and the Streeter Ditch were walked and <br />inspected. Reach 2 of the East Pit Ditch has been repaired from the storm event discussed in the previous <br />inspection. The rip rap had been pulled back from the grouped areas that formed within the ditch and evenly <br />spread. Each ditch is associated with the East Pit and no issues were observed. <br />Maintenance work at the Work Area and Prospect Pond were inspected. The Work Area Pond was permitted as a <br />total containment structure and the primary discharge was removed. Part of the discharge tubing remained but was <br />scheduled for removal. The Prospect Pond received a new primary spillway. The embankment was pulled back for <br />a new spillway structure to be placed and then graded and compacted. The inlet to the discharge was still needed <br />to be installed at the time of the inspection. Both ponds held minimal water and were well below the repair areas. <br />No issues were observed. <br />All other ponds inspected were Streeter, Section 25, Section 26, Section 36, Middle and Sidehill Ponds. All ponds <br />were stable and no issues observed. <br />Reach 2 repair. <br />Repair work from PD1 to Reach 2. <br />
