East Pit Ditch, Prospect Ditch and the Streeter Ditch were walked and
inspected. Reach 2 of the East Pit Ditch has been repaired from the storm event discussed in the previous
inspection. The rip rap had been pulled back from the grouped areas that formed within the ditch and evenly
spread. Each ditch is associated with the East Pit and no issues were observed.
Maintenance work at the Work Area and Prospect Pond were inspected. The Work Area Pond was permitted as a
total containment structure and the primary discharge was removed. Part of the discharge tubing remained but was
scheduled for removal. The Prospect Pond received a new primary spillway. The embankment was pulled back for
a new spillway structure to be placed and then graded and compacted. The inlet to the discharge was still needed
to be installed at the time of the inspection. Both ponds held minimal water and were well below the repair areas.
No issues were observed.
All other ponds inspected were Streeter, Section 25, Section 26, Section 36, Middle and Sidehill Ponds. All ponds
were stable and no issues observed.
Reach 2 repair.
Repair work from PD1 to Reach 2.
