6 October 2021 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br />4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />o Pond 6 held clear water and was discharging at the time of inspection. <br />o Ponds 16 and 17 were not discharging at the time of inspection. <br />o Check dams, contour ditches and reconstructed drainages appeared intact and functioning adequately. <br />o Pond outslopes were stable and functioning adequately. <br />SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE- Rule 4.12 <br />o No recent slumping was observed. <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 <br />o Vegetation appeared dry and was mostly dormant at this time of year. Some vegetation had greened after <br />recent rains. <br />o The ground was dry. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE— R ULE 4.18 <br />Abundant wildlife is often observed throughout Seneca IIW Mine.
