The <br />inspection was conducted, images analyzed and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Kevin <br />Copeland, mine representative, was present throughout the inspection. Some established vegetation had <br />greened after recent rains. Some ponds held water after recent rains, others were dry at the time of <br />inspection. Main haul road was in good repair. No hydrologic or air quality issues were detected at the time of <br />inspection. Skies were cloudy and the air was calm. Temperatures were in the mid 60 degrees F. <br />OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br />1. A replacement mine identification sign is required at the main entrance from the County Road. The <br />identification sign is missing at the main entrance from County Road, having been replaced by a guiding <br />company's sign. The land owner was in the vicinity and DRMS and Mr. Copeland spoke to the <br />landowner about repositioning the mine id sign at the entrance. <br />INSPECTION. - <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Reclamation is complete and executed as permitted. Approximately 106.2 acres of Phase I released acres remain <br />for phase II and III bond release. These acres comprise the main haul road, Pond 6 and the slide area above; <br />Ponds 15 and 16 and slide area on the east side of the site. Reclamation appears stable with well established and <br />diverse vegetation. Cows were grazing in some areas. <br />o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) <br />4.03.2(5) and (6). <br />o Roads were stable and in good condition. <br />o No rutted areas or areas of standing water were encountered. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />
