Compliance With Mine Plan <br />NA <br />- Support Facilities Not on site <br />N - Other <br />NA <br />- Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA - Processing Waste <br />N -Topsoil <br />CONIMENTS <br />This was a partial inspection of the Yoast Mine, C 1994082, operated by Seneca Property LLC. <br />Kevin Copeland of Peabody Inc, was present throughout the inspection. The inspection was <br />conducted, and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The weather was <br />cloudy, and calm with temperatures hovering around 60 to 65 degrees F. The ground was dry. <br />The roads were in good condition, and the entire site was accessible. <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br />None <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br />1. Willows were present in decant structure and cattails were growing in front of the <br />structure at Pond 10. The willows should be dug out of the decant structure before they <br />become large. <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Reclamation has been completed at the site. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts <br />were observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation was observed to be stable with a diverse <br />mix of well established vegetation. No expanses of bare areas or significant weed infestations <br />were noted at time of inspection. Ponds and drainage ways appeared to be functioning <br />adequately. <br />SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br />o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br />o The mine site identification signs observed at the mine access points, were intact, displaying all <br />required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone number, DRMS permit number <br />and contact information. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
