Material Processing and Associated Facilities <br /> Pit run material will be conveyed off-site to the Wattenberg Lakes site (M-2004- <br /> 051) to be conveyed for processing at the Platte Valley site (M-1989-120). <br /> Commodities to be Mined and Intended Use <br /> Sand and gravel for use as construction materials will be the primary products <br /> produced from the proposed Tucson South Resource. Test pits have verified that <br /> commercial deposits of sand and gravel exist up to 50 feet below the surface of the <br /> ground. In addition to the commercial sand and gravel materials, topsoil and <br /> overburden materials will be used on-site for reclamation. <br /> Use of Explosives <br /> The material is unconsolidated deposits, no explosives are required. <br /> Wetlands <br /> The Department of the Army published an Approved Jurisdictional Determination on <br /> July 23, 2019 attached to Exhibit J.
