EXHIBIT L
RECLAMATION COSTS (Revised 8/10/2021)
The following Reclamation Cost estimate is based on the
assumption that the maximum bonded disturbance will be no more
than 35 . 0 acres ± at any-one time. This is based on the current
operation activities at the mine and for the foreseeable future,
as shown on the Bond Map.
The mine working face volume for the cut/fill sloped is 6. 9
yd/lft on a length of 1, 000 feet long, an average of 25 feet
high. The partial slope area (2 : 1 to 3 : 1 sloping cut/fill)
volume is 2 . 9 cy/lft on 1, 000 feet long, an average of 25 feet
high. The 35 acres will then be resoiled with an average of 3
inches of soil using a scraper to distribute the soil and a motor
grader to spread and shape the seed bed.
At that time approximately 13, 270 cubic yards of topsoil
will be respread on the disturbed area; 6, 900 cy of cut\fill
sloping will be needed on the working face and to complete final
cut/fill sloping and final grading of the partially shaping
slopes will require moving 2, 900 cubic yards of material. Table
L-1 shows the various areas of disturbance at the time explained
above and the associated cost to reclaim the 35 acres .
IN this estimate a D8N dozer is used to do all cut/fill
sloping, a 631G scraper will respread the soil and a 140G Blade
is used to shape the reclamation area. The mobilization haul
distance is 12 . 0 miles at a average speed of 45 mph. The
revegetation cost figure used includes fertilizer, grass seed,
labor and drilling costs. The following table shows the unit
cost data used on Table L-1 Bond Estimate.
ESTIMATED UNIT COSTS FOR RECLAMATION ITEMS:
Unit Cost
1 . Revegetation areas includes grass seed,
fertilizer and labor to drill . . . . . . $ 1, 350 . 00/AC.
2 . Re-spreading soil and/or growth media with
631G Scraper, haul distance 900 ft or less $ 0 . 566/YD3
3. Cut/fill working face 1, 000 ft . @ 20 ft . high
D-8 Dozer, push distance 80 ft or less . . $ 0 . 325/YD3
4 . Cut/fill slope on 2 : 1 slope 1000 ft @ 20 ft high
D-8 Dozer, push distance 80 ft or less $ 0 . 325/YD3
5 . Shape seedbed 140G Motor grader
at 2 .28 acres per hour . . . . . . . . . . $ 71 . 66/AC
