25 August 2021 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> USE of EXPLOSIVES—Rule 4.08 <br /> General Requirements 4.08.1;Pre blasting survey 4.08.2;Public Notice of Blasting Schedule 4.08.3; <br /> Surface Blasting Requirements 4.08.4;Records of Blasting for Surface Coal Mining 4.08.5; <br /> Seismographic Measurements 4.08.6d stripping <br /> o No blast was observed during the course of inspection,although two blasts were in process of <br /> being set up. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—RULE 4.14 <br /> o Spoil removal to the fill area is ongoing. <br /> o Reclamation consists of benched overburden hauls awaiting grading. <br /> o No significant backfilling and grading in preparation for phase I reclamation has been undertaken <br /> over the 2021 field season to date. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 <br /> o Reclamation appeared to be progressing adequately. <br /> o Revegetation appeared well established <br /> o Vegetation on south slopes appeared to be going dormant due to the hot dry summer. <br /> o Throughout the site soil and vegetation appeared dry at the time of inspection. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—RULE 4.18 <br /> Abundant wildlife is often observed throughout Trapper mine. Wildlife included red and white tailed <br /> hawks, and waterfowl consisting of merganser ducks,geese and others.
