Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear <br /> with gusty winds. Temperatures ranged between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Coal was being hauled. <br /> Haul roads were dry and being watered. Access roads were accessible and in adequate repair. <br /> Reclamation activities appeared to be ongoing as permitted. <br /> Went up on the fill. Photo w rocks placed to drain fill,spoil from n pit <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o TR128 <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br /> o A phase III of approximately 200 acres is scheduled for autumn. <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> o Pond dredging: East Pyeatt Ponds#1 and#2,and Deal. The ponds have been dewatered and <br /> dredging will occur as the pond sediment dries out sufficiently. <br /> o Culvert repair 24 inch phase III reclamation above,drains road. Operator agreed to sever the <br /> culvert behind the crushed portion and build a dozer basin to settle out road runoff. During <br /> inspection the rock was removed and fill material around culvert was being removed to do the <br /> necessary repairs. <br /> o Ditch reconstruction along the north edge of the N pit to handle surface flow. As of August 2021 <br /> the necessary materials have been acquired and work shall begin in the near term. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Two draglines are stationed in the L pit and one was operating at the time of inspection. Activities in the <br /> L,N and I pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. Coal was being hauled from L <br /> pit and a blast was set up at the north end of the pit. <br /> The N Pit floor is exposed. N pit has been excavated down to M seam. There is approximately an <br /> additional 40 feet to excavate.
