No dead patches were observed, and
appeared that the pasture survived the irrigation water interruption from the CC ditch failure.
Dryland pasture areas are pretty sparse on cover. Root crowns appear green, so the dryland pasture may be able to
recover once the area receives adequate precipitation.
SUPPORT FACILITIES-Rule 4.04:
The former office/facilities area on the south end of the permit remain partially reclaimed. The un-
reclaimed portion of this area allows a path for transporting bench 1 material and topsoil once the operator is
approved to reclaim the sediment ponds. Tail-water that flows across this temporarily graded area reports to the
HNH-001 ditch and eventually to Pond 1. The silt fence is functioning well, with one small area that had
undercut. No gullies were forming on this southern portion of the permit.
TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4:
The topsoil stockpile and Bench 1 stockpile on the south eastern portion of the permit area have been
shaped. Vegetation has not become established, but there has been little precipitation. No rills or blow outs have
occurred. The piles appear stable and no noxious weeds have become established on the stockpiles.
Overall, the site is in good condition.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA
OTHER(SPECIFY) NA
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE
No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 0
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1
Page 3 of 6
