No dead patches were observed, and <br /> appeared that the pasture survived the irrigation water interruption from the CC ditch failure. <br /> Dryland pasture areas are pretty sparse on cover. Root crowns appear green, so the dryland pasture may be able to <br /> recover once the area receives adequate precipitation. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES-Rule 4.04: <br /> The former office/facilities area on the south end of the permit remain partially reclaimed. The un- <br /> reclaimed portion of this area allows a path for transporting bench 1 material and topsoil once the operator is <br /> approved to reclaim the sediment ponds. Tail-water that flows across this temporarily graded area reports to the <br /> HNH-001 ditch and eventually to Pond 1. The silt fence is functioning well,with one small area that had <br /> undercut. No gullies were forming on this southern portion of the permit. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> The topsoil stockpile and Bench 1 stockpile on the south eastern portion of the permit area have been <br /> shaped. Vegetation has not become established,but there has been little precipitation. No rills or blow outs have <br /> occurred.
