00 MIOTH
The following preparation procedures were completed for each sample:
1. Splits were prepared for XRD and screening per the analyses identified in Table
1.
2. Screening at 106, 53 & 20 pm.
a. Splits were prepared for each size fraction for acid digestion for ICP, and
epoxy mount preparation.
The following methods of analysis were completed for each sample:
1. ICP elemental sweep chemical analysis of head and size fractions.
2. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis with Rietveld refinement for bulk mineralogy
and CEC swelling clay analysis on the head samples.
3. Automated Mineral Analyses (AMA) for mineralogy, locking/liberation analyses
and trace mineral detection on the size fractions.
Discussion of Results
The ICP analyses are for the head and are presented in Table 2. This Master Composite has
higher Pb and Zn concentrations than samples submitted for test work in 2016.
