The rheology tests conducted indicate this <br /> solids concentration to have a yield stress of approximately 25-Pa. This solid concentration <br /> was deemed suitable as feed to a filter press. <br /> Test work shows that the thickener could produce up to 68-wt% in less than 3 hours of <br /> retention time. U/F solids at 68-wt% have a yield stress of approximately 150-Pa and <br /> would be manageable with a centrifugal pump. <br /> 6.0 Filter Press Testing Results <br /> FLSmidth engineers determine the important variables to alter in order to meet the <br /> customer's objectives. Table 7 presents a summary of the tested conditions.
