Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear <br /> until about midday when clouds gathered. Temperatures ranged between 55 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. <br /> There was a light breeze. Coal was being hauled. Haul roads were dry and being watered. Access roads <br /> were accessible and in adequate repair. Reclamation activities appeared to be ongoing as permitted. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o None at this time <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br /> o A phase III of F Pit parcels comprising approximately 200 acres is contemplated for <br /> autumn. <br /> o A Technical Revision of the orientation of L Pit to accommodate high wall mining. <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> o Pond cleaning/dredging of East Pyeat 91,Middle Flume 43 and Deal Ponds is scheduled <br /> for the summer. <br /> o Diversion ditch repair for dewatering N Pit. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L,N and I pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. Two draglines <br /> are stationed in the L pit one was operating casting spoil and the second was idle at the time of inspection. <br /> Highwall mining is anticipated to begin in I Pit by August 2021. Highwall wall miner cars have been <br /> moved from the yard to somewhat closer to the pit and access to power is in place. Road construction to <br /> the pit floor is taking place for access by equipment. A small amount of water was visible at the NW wall <br /> of the pit. The Queen Anne is stationed in the N pit and was not operating at the time of inspection. <br /> Spoil springs above N pit have been enclosed in casing to control flow. Dewatering systems are in place <br /> for N pit. The higwall is being monitored for movement. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5)and(6);Reclamation 4.03.1(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads were in good repair and well maintained at the time of inspection. <br /> o Roads were being watered throughout the day. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 9 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />
