June 15,2021 C-1981-008/New Horizon Mine LJW <br /> The topsoil stockpiles located at the facilities area were observed. All piles were stable at the time of the <br /> inspection and no signs of settling, slumping or erosion was noted. Also,no evidence of windblown erosion was <br /> observed at the time. The mixed topsoil pile is well vegetated and was stable at the time of the inspection as <br /> shown in Photo Six. Tospoil B stockpile has been seeded but exhibits little growth yet. Given the drought <br /> conditions experienced in the area this is to be expected and not considered a problem at this time. The topsoil B <br /> pile can be seen in Photo Seven. The recently moved topsoil stockpiles located near the backfill area were also <br /> observed,these piles have been seeded and are showing various stages of vegetation establishment.
