We are also soliciting input on habitat enhancement for the riparian area <br />along Tallahassee Creek on our company-owned property <br /> <br />EGS11 Encourage proposed development to conform to the rural character of the District. <br />Mining is an historical use of the area, and the Parkdale Quarry is an existing development in the area. <br /> <br />EGS12 Consider requiring development plans to address all potential exterior issues during property <br />development. <br />Development plans that address exterior issues are contained in the project EIS. <br /> <br />EGS13 Consider requiring stormwater drainage studies that address historic volumes, volumes after <br />development, velocity, water quality, and mitigation plans. <br />Stormwater drainage studies were conducted as part of the 2008 Conditional Use Permit process, and <br />are included in the 2020 EIS for the project. <br /> <br />EGS14 Encourage collaboration with the Colorado Department of Transportation to develop specific <br />strategies to address issues pertaining to County Road and individual property access on U.S. Highway <br />50. <br />The project will not alter County Road and individual property access on U.S. Highway 50. <br /> <br />EGS15 Consider designation of special planning areas around the existing community development <br />areas to protect the exceptional recreational and visual qualities and the rural atmosphere of the <br />District. <br />Not applicable. The designation of special planning areas is a Fremont County function.
