Section 1.2.1 of the report indicates that disturbance totaling 271.5 acres occurred in 2020 in I, L and N Pits.
The DRMS form submitted corroborates the acres of disturbance.
c. Backfilling and grading (B & G),topsoiling and seeding comprised 19.3 acres. The location
and number of acres backfilled and graded during 2020 are discussed in Section 1.2.2, indicated
on Table 1.1 of Appendix W. Trapper backfilled and graded 19.3 acres of land to final contour in
2020 in the L Pit.

DRMS notes a discrepancy between the 2019 year cumulative total for acres B & G and topsoiled on the
2019 form (4909.4) and for 2019 on the 2020 form 4917.60. This discrepancy was discussed during the
April 2021 inspection.
3. It would be helpful if you would please provide a brief explanation of the discrepancy for the record.
d. The location and the number of acres topsoiled during 2020 are discussed in section 1.2.3,
indicated on Table 1.1 of Appendix W. The number of acres coincides with the number of acres
backfilled and graded.
e. Trapper permanently seeded 19.3 acres of land in 2020,corresponding to the areas backfilled,
graded and topsoiled. The location and the number of acres seeded during 2020 are discussed in
section 1.2.4 of Appendix W. Revegetation seed mixes are discussed in section 7.3 and associated
tables of the report. Trapper included an invoice from Stevenson Intermountain Seed, Inc. in
Section 7 of Appendix W illustrating the seeds used for reclamation.
Section 1.2.5 of Appendix W discusses the cultural practices conducted in 2020. Separate sections in
the report discuss each unique practice. Cultural practices include and are not limited to:
o Drainage reconstruction
o Development drilling
o Topsoil pile construction
(a) Map 1 of Appendix W depicts all previously planted parcels at the site. Each parcel
identifies the acres and the year seeding occurred.
Rule 2.04.13 (2):
Section 3 of the report indicates that improvements and repairs were conducted on reconstructed
drainages. No new drainage construction occurred in 2020. In 2020 26.9 miles of permanent drainage
reconstruction took place representing approximately 141,870 linear feet. Drainage repairs or
improvements were completed on approximately 11,200 linear feet in the Flume System in 2020.
Table 5-lin Section 5 of Trappers report provides geographic locations for each of the topsoil stockpiles
and the approximate volume stored in each pile. Topsoil stockpiles are depicted on the maps associated
with the submital in Appendix W. Over the course of 2020 16 new topsoil piles were constructed.
Stock tanks and dozer basins are discussed in Section 6.0 of the report.
