Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy <br /> and there was a thick fog until about 2 p.m.when the fog lifted and clouds cleared somewhat. The <br /> temperature hovered around 35 degrees Fahrenheit. There was a light breeze. Ash and overburden were <br /> being hauled. Haul roads were damp and passable. Most of the site was accessible but visibility was <br /> limited throughout the morning. Reclamation activities were progressing as permitted. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o TR127 the 2020 ARR <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br /> o A phase III of approximately 200 acres is contemplated for autumn. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br /> Maintenance issues identified and discussed with the operator comprise annual or as needed items and <br /> will be scheduled as soon as possible. <br /> 1. Ponds requiring dredging or removal of vegetation include Pyeatt#1 and#2,Johnson 1 OR, and <br /> West Horse. <br /> 2. Annual maintenance of reclamation and constructed drainages. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Two draglines are stationed in the L pit,one was operating at the time of inspection. One dragline, the in <br /> the L pit is undergoing maintenance. Activities in the L,N and I pits were observed and appear to be <br /> progressing as permitted. The high wall miner is in process of assembly. <br /> The Queen Anne is stationed in the N pit and was not operating at the time of inspection. Overburden <br /> removal and stripping in N Pit is complete. Coal level has been reached in the N Pit. The pit floor is <br /> exposed and water was present at the time of inspection. The higwall is weeping water and is being <br /> monitored for movement utilizing a sophisticated LIDAR system,(Map Tech Sentry),that monitors for <br /> bulging,movement and other changes. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />
