The following is a draft schedule and further clarification for the Permit and NEPA Processes for both <br /> pits: <br /> • January 2021 —Dolores County works with Ebberts Construction, CDRMS and San Miguel <br /> County to transfer the necessary permits, assume reclamation liability,and get the Ebberts bond <br /> released. BLM will issue free use permit for existing stockpiled material once the CDRMS <br /> permit and any reclamation liability has been transferred to Dolores County. Operations within <br /> the pit during would be subject to seasonal wildlife limitations(deer and elk critical winter range) <br /> identified in the 2015 Tres Rios Resource Management Plan. <br /> • April 2021 —Dolores County works with BLM to develop proposed actions for expanding the <br /> Black Snag and Disappointment Valley Pits. <br /> • May 2021 —BLM begins preparation of the EAs for both pits with input from both Dolores and <br /> San Miguel Counties as needed. <br /> • December 2021 —BLM finishes EAs and issues Decision Records for Black Snag and <br /> Disappointment Valley Pits. <br /> If you have any further questions about the process of transferring the Disappointment Valley Pit, or the <br /> expansion of either the Disappointment or Black Snag Pits,please contact James Blair,the geologist for <br /> the Tres Rios Field Office at 970-882-1135,or via email at jblair(a-)blm.gov. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Connie Clementson <br /> Field Manager <br /> cc: San Miguel Board of County Commissioners <br /> 333 West Colorado Avenue, 3 d Floor-PO Box 1170 <br /> Telluride, CO 81453 <br /> Linda L.
