SECTION 02 21 13 <br /> SITE SURVEY <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: <br /> 1. Underground utility locate. <br /> 2. Measurement and mapping of all local site features,easements,utility locates and legal <br /> monuments. <br /> 3. Photography of local property features and legal monuments. <br /> 4. Mapping of all property easements. <br /> 5. Placement of local control for site development. <br /> 6. Placement of soil boring locations for geotechnical investigation. <br /> B. Related Specification Sections include but are not necessarily limited to: <br /> 1. Division 00-Procurement and Contracting Requirements. <br /> 2. Division 01 -General Requirements. <br /> 3. Section 31 23 16—Excavation <br /> 4. Section 3123 23—Fill <br /> 5. Section 3137 00-Riprap <br /> 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Referenced Standards: <br /> 1. National Society of Professional Surveyors: <br /> a. Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys,2/16. <br /> 2. Building code: <br /> a. International Code Council(ICC): <br /> 1) International Building Code and associated standards,2015 Edition including all <br /> amendments,referred to herein as Building Code. <br /> 3. General: <br /> a. Furnish all necessary equipment,materials,and labor to effectively measure the site in <br /> accordance with these specifications. Additional local surveying requirements for local <br /> platting,mapping,etc.,shall be researched and followed by the surveyor. <br /> b. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damage to public and private property <br /> resulting from the operations of its employees. <br /> c. The Contractor shall be responsible for gaining permission to access any site(s) <br /> required for surveying. Any site-specific training to access the property shall be the <br /> responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> 1.3 DEFINITIONS <br /> A. "Contractor"shall mean person,firm,or corporation with whom Owner may enter into contract <br /> for execution of work specified relating to the Survey of the site. <br /> 1.4 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Topographical Survey: <br /> 1. See Section 0133 00 for requirements for the mechanics and administration of the submittal <br /> process. <br /> 2. Submit to the Owner complete CAD files within one week after field visit. <br /> 3. CAD file shall be AutoCAD Civil 3D files with 3D points and TIN(Triangulated Irregular <br /> Network)surfaces of topography included. All site features shall be drawn and included <br /> within CAD file. Contractor shall receive Owner approval to use different CAD software. <br /> 4. TIN surface(s)shall be exported as individual.XML format files.
