Approval of this proposed quarry will provide a valuable construction materials resource for the
growing Front Range community. Consistent with state policy, production of needed
construction materials occurs with a stringent focus on maintaining environmental quality and
economic values in the affected area and beyond.
While preparing and evaluating the designs for the Young Ranch Resource Quarry, Greg
Lewicki and Associates, PLLC used exhaustive due diligence measures to fully identify, address
and mitigate any potential impacts resulting from the operation. Various studies were completed
by Greg Lewicki and Associates, PLLC and third-party consultants which augment the
information provided herein and are attached as Appendices to this application. Studies include
geotechnical stability, wildlife mitigation, hydrology, and cultural resource inventory.
Young Ranch Resource
February 2020 i-2
