Colorado Legacy Land Former Schwartzwalder Mine <br /> North Waste Rock Pile Diversion Channel <br /> 2. The latest revision of the following standard of the Geosynthetic Research <br /> Institute(GRI) are hereby made a part of these specifications: <br /> a. GRI GM25 Standard Specification for Test Methods,Test Properties and <br /> Testing Frequency for Reinforced Linear Low-Density Polyethylene <br /> (LLDPE-R)Geomembranes. <br /> 1.04 Submittals <br /> A. Prior to Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembrane installation,the Contractor shall submit <br /> the following: <br /> 1. Certificate of Conformance and Sample: Prior to shipping to the site,the <br /> Contractor shall submit a certificate or affidavit signed by a legally authorized <br /> official of the Manufacturer for the Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembrane <br /> attesting that the Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembrane meets the physical and <br /> manufacturing requirements stated in these Specifications. The Contractor shall <br /> also submit a sample of the Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembrane to be used <br /> (sample may be of different color). The sample shall be labeled with the product <br /> name and be accompanied by the Manufacturer's specifications. <br /> 2. Installer's QC manual to include,but not be limited to, deployment, wind ballast, <br /> seam sampling,testing, and documentation of all installation and testing <br /> activities required by this Section. <br /> 3. Certifications and calibration charts(current within 6 months prior to use on <br /> Project) for all testing apparatus and gauges to be used by Installer. <br /> 4. Submit installation procedures for carrying out the work. Installation procedures <br /> to be addressed shall include but not be limited to material installation,repair, <br /> and protection to be provided in the event of rain or strong winds. <br /> 5. Furnish copies of the delivery tickets or other approved receipts as evidence for <br /> materials received that will be incorporated into the construction. <br /> B. Upon completion of the Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembrane installation,the <br /> Contractor shall submit a completed material performance warranty. <br /> 1.05 Qualifications <br /> A. The Manufacturer shall have produced the proposed geomembrane sheets for at least 5 <br /> completed projects having a total minimum area of 10 million square feet. <br /> B. The Installer is responsible for field handling, deploying, and field Quality Control(QC) <br /> testing of the geomembrane. The Installer shall have installed the proposed geomembrane <br /> material for at least 5 completed projects having a total minimum area of 2 million square <br /> feet. <br /> C. The CQC Manager shall have provided CQC management during installation of the <br /> proposed geomembrane material for at least 5 completed projects having a total minimum <br /> area of 2 million square feet. <br /> Section 026617-Geomembrane Page 2 <br />
