Collom Temporary Spoil Pile. <br />EXPLOSIVES — Rule 4.08 <br />Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />Drilling for a future blast was occurring in the South Taylor Pit. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The Final East Pit Ditch and the North Trib. East Pit Ditch is were inspected. The ditches were stable and no <br />issues observed. The stock tanks were snow covered and appeared in working order. <br />West/East/South Taylor Pit Ponds: Section 16, Prospect, Streeter, West Taylor, East Taylor, and West Pit and <br />were inspected. The Streeter, West Taylor and East Taylor ponds held water but it is undeterminable on whether <br />discharge was occurring. The remaining ponds were visibly dry. No issues were observed with any sediment pond <br />associated with the West/East/South Taylor Pit ponds. <br />All the ponds associated with the Collom Pit and facilities were inspected. This includes the Section 25, Section <br />26, Section 36, Middle, Sidehill and Coal Stockpile Ponds. All ponds were snow covered and it was <br />undeterminable on whether discharge was occurring. All ponds were stable. <br />
