Map IDs 9 & 10, are monitoring wells and as such will not be adversely <br /> affected should groundwater levels fluctuate as a result of the mining activities. See the <br /> attached well permits. The GP Resources well, Map ID 6, has a decreed use allowing GP <br /> Aggregates use of the well for the West Farm Pit operations. See Condition of Approval No. 5 of <br /> the attached well permit. If the proposed use of groundwater at the West Farm Pit site results in <br /> material injury to surrounding wells, Prowers Aggregate Operators, LLC. will ensure that all <br /> necessary measures are taken to address the issues. <br /> Water Quality <br /> An NPDES permit has been obtained from the Water Quality Control Division at the Colorado <br /> Department of Public Health & Environment for the West Farm Pit for discharging groundwater <br /> that is dewatered from the site.
