This area of silt fence was inspected and numerous sections of the sit fence along this area had been knocked <br /> down and was in need of repair. Walking the silt fence line,large amounts of elk sign were present along the <br /> portions of silt fence that were knocked down.Additionally,most of the knocked down fencing was laid down up- <br /> slope along natural corridors between natural vegetation.Based on this,it was concluded that these portions of <br /> knocked down silt fence was caused by wildlife as they moved throughout the area. Each portion the knocked <br /> down fence line was inspected and there was no sign of erosion or sediment leaving the site.
