5 November 2020 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br /> o Pond identification signs appeared in good repair at the ponds visited. <br /> o Mine site identification signs and blasting notification signs were placed at entrances to <br /> the site and provided the required identifying information: ID signs to the site from CO <br /> Road 13,were intact, as were the signs on the east end of the permit at the Kannez Divide <br /> Road. The signs displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, <br /> address,phone number, DRMS permit number and contact information. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5)and(6);Reclamation 4.03.1(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads dry and smooth. The Haul Road was in good repair and well maintained at the <br /> time of inspection. <br /> o Roads were being watered throughout the day. <br /> o Access roads were passable over most of the site. <br /> o Ditches appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE—Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6;Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br /> 4.05.10;Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage-Acid <br /> and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> Unless otherwise noted, pond banks and dams appeared stable at the time of inspection and none of the <br /> ponds visited were discharging. The following pond systems were visited: <br /> a) West Pyeatt was dry at the time of inspection. <br /> b) The East Pyeatt Ponds held water and were not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> Water appeared turbid. <br /> c) Middle Pyeatt held a small amount water and was not discharging at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> d) Middle Flume#3 held water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. Discharge <br /> structure was in good repair at the time of inspection. <br /> e) East Flume Pond was dry at the time of inspection. <br /> f) East Middle Flume 91 Pond held water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> g) The two Deacon Ponds were dry at the time of inspection as was Jeffway Pond. <br /> TOPSOIL—RULE 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4 <br /> o No instability or rilling were noted on the observed topsoil piles. Piles appeared to be marked <br /> appropriately and well vegetated. <br /> o Topsoil was being graded into place in the L Pit,adjacent to parcel LAB19. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—RULE 4.14 <br /> o Backfilling was occurring at the time of inspection in the L Pit. <br /> o Topography was evaluated for TR124,the 2019 Annual Reclamation Report, and found to appear <br /> as shown in the following graph. Elevation measured refers to the gps measurement converted <br /> from meters to feet and the Map Elevation value corresponds to the elevation of the corresponding <br /> point on Trappers ARR map. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />
