Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine;permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection encompassed a topographic review of the 2019 ARR(Annual Reclamation Report). The <br /> inspection was conducted and the report, analysis and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the <br /> Division. Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative,was present throughout the inspection. Skies <br /> were clear and the wind was calm. Temperatures ranged between 50 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o PR10 in process <br /> UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br /> o Mid Term Review <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> None <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br /> Erosional features identified in the bond release inspection of October 2020 had been alleviated as <br /> agreed to by the operator. These areas will be revisited in the spring after snowmelt for any additional <br /> mitigation that may be required. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L and N and Bird Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. The <br /> Queen Anne was operating in the N pit. Excavation to the original pit floor(formerly A pit),has been <br /> achieved in the N Pit,ultimately excavation to the Q seam represents an additional 250 feet in depth for <br /> the N Pit. One dragline was operating,casting spoil in the L pit; and one dragline was idle. Activities in <br /> the Bird Pit,the east area of the L pit were observed. A temporary ditch had been constructed to carry <br /> water to Jeffway 91 Pond,alleviating the need for the construction of Jeffway 92 pond. This temporary <br /> diversion ditch is expected to be in place for approximately two years. The ditch in the I/J pits had been <br /> completed. Overburden was being pushed into place in the L pit,coal and ash were being hauled at the <br /> time of inspection. A grader was operating spreading topsoil. Haul roads were being watered and <br /> appeared in good repair at the time of inspection. No offsite air quality or hydrologic issues were <br /> observed at the time of inspection. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />
