13 October 2020 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — RULE 4.14 <br />o Backfilling and grading is progressing as permitted. <br />o Parcels in the bond release block appeared to be constructed to a stable slope, no evidence of <br />standing water or significant depressions were noted and vegetation appeared to be establishing <br />as expected. <br />To ascertain the as -built reclamation in SL21 areas, points were collected utilizing the following GPS <br />technology: <br />1. ESRPS Arc Collector application for field data collection, mapping and data visualization <br />2. Bad Elf GNSS surveying device connected via blue tooth to an Apple iPad. <br />The map included in the inspection report show the locations of the data points. <br />o Slope will be calculated from change in elevation as collected using the Bad Elf survey <br />instrument. <br />o Elevation will be evaluated against permitted post mine topography. <br />Map 3: Elevation data points collected in Parcel FB19. <br />INSPECTION Phase H. <br />Phase I Parcels <br />AB14 <br />AB16 <br />FA16 <br />KA16 <br />ZA14 <br />ZA15 <br />ZAB16 <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 <br />General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />o Reclamation and revegetation appeared to be progressing adequately. <br />o Cows were grazing in areas in the central area and on the west end of the site. <br />o Small areas of weeds were noted at the time of inspection. Weeds showed evidence of treatment. <br />o No extensive areas of weed infestations were noted in any of the requested reclamation block <br />parcels, although isolated and small areas of minor weed species as indicated below were noted as <br />follows: <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />
