The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the <br />Division. Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative, Tom Medlin OSM representative and Daniel <br />Cunningham of the Division were present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear until about <br />midday when clouds moved in. Temperatures ranged between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. There was a <br />light breeze. The ground was dry. The inspections took place over one day, with phase I and phase II <br />parcels inspected simultaneously as we were proximal to them. Ash, coal and overburden were being <br />hauled. Haul roads were in good repair and passable. <br />This inspection consisted of collecting elevation data in order to validate approximate original contour for <br />the four parcels one of which comprises a constructed drainage. Additionally, 175 acres of a requested <br />phase II SL19, bond release request were inspected comprising seven parcels. <br />o PR10 in process <br />o TR 124 topo validation <br />UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br />o MR for vegetation standard <br />o Mid Term Review <br />OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br />None <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br />NA <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The Queen Anne is operating in the N pit. One dragline is operating, casting spoil in the L pit; and one <br />dragline is idle. Activities in the L and N pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. <br />Overburden was being hauled and placed in benches at the time of inspection. Coal and ash were being <br />hauled. A parting shot blast was observed in L dip pit. All notifications were audible.
