III. Hydrologic Balance - Rule 4.05 <br />A. Water Quality Standards and Effluent Limitations <br />There is no surface disturbance proposed for this permit revision. As such, no sediment <br />control structures are required, for the PR10 parcels <br />B. Diversions and Conveyance of Overland Flow <br />No diversions are proposed for this permit revision. <br />C. Stream Channel Diversions <br />There are no stream channel diversions proposed or anticipated. <br />D. Sedimentation Ponds <br />No sediment ponds are proposed. <br />E. Acid-forming and Toxic -forming Spoil <br />There is no surface disturbance proposed with this permit revision, so no spoil will be <br />generated. <br />F. Impoundments <br />No impoundments are proposed. <br />G. Surface and Ground Water Monitoring <br />Section 2.05.6 of the PAP lists the many parameters to be monitored in groundwater <br />and surface water, and Map King II-012 shows the locations of monitoring sites <br />GCC Energy, LLC will conduct monitoring of ground water in a manner approved <br />by the Division. The ground water monitoring plan is as follows under the current <br />plan (since TR-26), ground water is monitored in four wells in the Hay Gulch <br />alluvium: MW-HGA-4, which is upgradient of King I; the Wiltse Well (near the <br />King I entrance); a well upgradient of King II and downgradient of King I; and a <br />well downgradient of King IL With TR-26 (issued November 2, 2016), four <br />bedrock monitoring "clusters" were added to the monitoring plan. Each cluster <br />contains three wells: a well in the Cliff House formation, a well in the "A" coal <br />seam, and a well in the interburden below the "A" seam. (4.05.13(1)) <br />2. The applicant will conduct monitoring of surface water in a manner approved by <br />the Division.
