The vegetative cover on this pile is sparse, but noxious weeds and erosion are not becoming
troublesome at this time.
King I plant growth material at the east end of the upper RDA was well vegetated with no concerns noted with this
pile at this time.
King II topsoil stockpile 2 has good vegetative cover on most of the pile. The northwest side of the pile has some
areas that are thin on vegetative cover. GCC should be proactive and add some stabilizing seed mix to the thin
areas to minimize erosion and noxious weed invasion. The Yellow toadflax patch on the south side of KII TS pile
92 have been effectively sprayed. GCC should continue to monitor this patch to assure re-sprouting of the
rhizomes does not occur, and manage accordingly. Musk thistle rosettes were observed on this stockpile as well.
Treatment of these noxious species is needed prior to the plants flowering next spring.
King II topsoil Stockpile 91 has good vegetative cover,is posted with topsoil identification signage, and no
problems were noted with this pile.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA
OTHER(SPECIFY) NA
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE
No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1
Page 4 of 7
