Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste Y - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Seneca Mine,C1982057,operated by Seneca Property LLC. Miranda <br /> Kawcak of Peabody Inc,was present throughout the inspection. The inspection was conducted,the images and <br /> the report prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The skies had light,high clouds and there was a brisk <br /> wind. The temperature was approximately 65 degrees F. The ground was dry. The roads were in acceptable <br /> condition. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> o SL6 and SL7 in process <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts were observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation was <br /> observed to be stable with a diverse mix of well established vegetation. No expanses of bare areas or significant <br /> weed infestations were noted at time of inspection. Ponds and drainage ways appeared to be functioning <br /> adequately. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS—Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br /> o Signage and boundary markers were adequately spaced and visible. <br /> o The mine site identification signs observed at the mine access points,were intact,displaying all required <br /> information: mine name,operator name,address,phone number,DRMS permit number and contact <br /> information,with the exception of the southern most entrance,where the mine id sign was missing,having <br /> been replaced by an outfitters logo. <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance 4.03.1(5)and(6) 4.03.2(5)and(6). <br /> o Roads in and around the facilities were dry and in good repair. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
