Connector Project Area: <br /> This section is another area that was hit hard by rockhounds in the past. Since we started the <br /> Ridgetop Project,we worked in conjunction with the BLM to assure that "no more dirt or rock <br /> went over the edge of the cliff". I can honestly say that outside of sweeping the cliff edge to <br /> keep it safe, no dirt has gone over. But there are lots of remnants of the past mining and <br /> rockhounding. It is very steep and a mixture of dirt,tailings, rocks and larger boulders.
