17) (Optional) Please provide additional information about the Mine Plan:
There ore 6 project areas-done in 5 phases:
1)Ridgetop Project Area: This is Phase One-our current and bonded area.
The BLM has requested that we move forward on the fence that was approved on our Original Plan of
Operations. I feel that fence was overlooked in the initial permit with the state. So it will be addressed
by side and disturbance.
Within the 60 foot x 40 foot area of disturbance, we intend to remove all of the topsoil and overburden
to bedrock. This material will be 3 to 5-foot-thick and will be sorted into topsoil and smaller rocks into
one pile, with the larger rocks into another. Once we reach the granite bedrock,we will remove the clay
and vein material (approx. 6 to 8 feet-wide)that goes down into the granite to a total depth of forty-five
feet or less; depending on quality/quantity of material recovered.
Overburden will be moved to 3 distinct piles located 25 feet east of main dig area. One pile will consist
of medium to large rocks and the other 2 piles will be topsoil piled on a tarp. Topsoil has been seeded
and mulched with recommended seed mix, based on specs provided by the DRMS to enrich the soil until
it can be replaced and permanently reseeded.
Ridgetop Project Area Usage: 0.25 acres, which break down to...
Area of Disturbance =0.08
Tool Storage/Shade=0.01
Dirt/ Rock Storage=0.04
Existing Access trails=0.12 (*note BLM has asked us NOT to reclaim 0.1 acres of the historic road since
we bonded -We are leaving this in here however in case that changes later.)
Additionally—there will be a 575 foot long- 3 wire fence erected around the Purple Pipe, Ridgetop(and
auxiliary areas), and part of Connect Project Areas. This is to address public safety issues and to cut
down on "willful ignorance" of the claim boundaries and signs. This fence based on a 1 foot wide
disturbance will add 0.01 acres to the permit.
*Please note some areas noted above are larger than our current bond to allow some expanding and
delimiting of work zones
This is the end of Phase one (current operation).
