These structures will be cut into sufficient sizes to allow for <br /> placement underground. All remaining <br /> structures will remain in place. <br /> 3. DRMS Comment:For the Waste Storage Pad&Secondary Containment is the concrete slab <br /> reinforced? What size are connexs within the building and can they be skidded for removal <br /> or require being picked? What is the height of the building? <br /> OSMI Response: Yes,the concrete slab is reinforced. The connexs are 8 feet by 20 feet, and <br /> they can be skidded offsite for removal. The peak height of the building is 12'4." <br /> 4. DRMS Comment: The Thickener Tank and Piping will need to be cut up for disposal, what <br /> is the total linear feet of cuts that will be required to break down this structure into <br /> manageable pieces?Alternatively you may supply the Division with an updated User <br /> Provided Cost for removal of this item. <br /> OSMI Response: The Thickener Tank will be demolished,using approximately 63 cuts <br /> comprising approximately 25 linear feet per section, and placed underground in the mill gallery <br /> area. <br /> 5. DRMS Comment: The following buildings are to have equipment/contents removed; <br /> Administration, Air Compressor, Rail Yard/Battery Charger (in addition to tracks), <br /> Underground Shop and Warehouse, and Concentrator and Filter. Specify the material type <br /> to be removed, disposal location and volume per buildings. <br /> OSMI Response: Materials will be placed in the mill gallery.Dimensions of each building are <br /> listed in Exhibit L,Demolition Work. The 200HP, 250HP, and 300HP air compressors will be <br /> removed offsite. All scrap metal will be removed from the mine site. The Conveyor belting and <br /> used tires will also be removed from the mine site, and timber used on the surface will be <br /> removed and sold. <br /> 6. DRMS Comment:Specify how the Ventilation Fan will be removed and include a User <br /> Provided Cost for the removal. <br /> OSMI Response: The ventilation fan will be unbolted, sold, and shipped offsite. A line item for <br /> the ventilation fan is included in Exhibit L(Attachment 3). <br /> 7.
