CONCRETE INC.
Exhibit G: Water Information
See also Attached Map for Oak Creek, wells within 200', & Minnequa Canal. Also attached map
from USDA website for water table depth.
Upon review of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources website and mapping services,
we determined there to be two wells located within proximity of the proposed property. Both
wells are listed as being owned by the same land owner.
The locations of the wells are on the Northern side of the property within this 112c application.
#1) Dale Roberts
Receipt # 9086643
Permit # 92824
Depth- 50'
42) Dale Roberts
Receipt # 0099534
Permit # 92822-A
Depth- 77'
Both wells are located in the valley area below mesa where property in question is located. The
elevation of the mesa is roughly 5269'. The elevation of both wells is approximately 50'-75'
below the elevation of the mesa. The wells are relatively shallow; however, we do not anticipate
being anywhere close to the same elevation as the wells during extraction, nor anywhere below
the elevation they are currently surfaced at. As the mesa land is significantly higher than where
the wells are located.
Also, the only reason the wells are even in proximity of the permitted area is because of the
requirement to have the entrance to the mine permitted. Both wells are well beyond the limits of
excavation from where the actual extraction location is going to take place. They are only near
the area where the entrance to the property is located.
Given the topography of the land, it is also not anticipated to encounter any ground water at all.
The area is high and desert in nature to begin with and the mesa is not conducive to water being
present. Typically, underground water is found in saddles, low lying areas, and placed where
known aquifers are located.
Upon review of the information available on the USDA Web Soil Survey website, we discovered
the water table in the area is greater than 200'. We do not anticipate being anywhere close to
200' deep. We only anticipate being around 15'-20' in total.
