25 August 2020 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance 4.031(5) and(6) 4.03.2(5) and(6). <br /> o Roads in and around the facilities were in good repair. <br /> o Roads were dry. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland <br /> Flow 4.05.3; Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7 <br /> Impoundments 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; <br /> Surface and Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Unless otherwise noted pond banks, dams, dam outslopes and reconstructed drainage ways appeared stable, were <br /> functioning adequately and well vegetated at the time of inspection. <br /> o Pond 16 was receiving inflow from spring above. <br /> o Stock tanks are still holding water <br /> o Ponds 5 and 6 held water at the time of inspection <br /> TOPSOIL-Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> o Topsoil piles observed were associated with roads. Their slopes appeared stable and vegetated. <br /> o Stock piles were marked appropriatly. <br /> o As the site has been reclaimed,most topsoil has been utilized throughout the site. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE-Rule 4.12 <br /> o The site, in the past, has experienced soil movement in the form of slumps and slides. At the time of <br /> inspection no evidence of recent new movement was observed and historic slide areas appeared stable. <br /> o Due to slope and aspect, slide and slumped areas tend to be sparsely vegetated. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 General Requirements 4.15.1 <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation have been completed throughout the site. <br /> o No extensive areas devoid of vegetation or, expansive areas of weeds were noted at the time of inspection. <br /> o Reclamation appeared stable with well established vegetation. <br /> o Vegetation was dry for lack of rain. <br /> o Establishing vegetation on slide and slump areas is problematic due to slope and aspect. <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> None <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
