Page 16
8 Statement of Assumption of Reclamation Responsibility
Miners Mall agrees to accept the responsibility for reclamation of all surface disturbance associated with
the Project detailed under this Plan per 43 CFR 3809.400.
Additionally, Miners Mall has already posted a bond (M-2017-035) with the Colorado Division of
Reclamation and Mining Safety(DRMS)to encompass the previously approved reclamation cost of
$2588.30
9 Reclamation Cost Estimate
The reclamation cost estimate, as required by 43 CFR 3809.552, is included in this Plan. The reclamation
tasks are set forth Reclamation Costs Estimate below, for the Project activities,to follow the bond
release criteria established in 43 CFR 3809.400.
Miners Mall currently holds a reclamation bond for$2588.30 with the DRMS. Miners Mall has
submitted the Area of Disturbance increase to the DRMS, which triggers a bond review of the entire
claim and all project sites within; both new and existing.
Ultimately it will be the DRMS that calculates the reclamation bond, based on TOTAL Area of
Disturbance (work areas, stockpiles, and travel routes)of the entire claim; and ALL tools used to perform
the mining operation.
The minimum bond from the DRMS is$2500 per acre, with the minimum bondable area being 1 acre.
When Miners Mall submitted paperwork to the DRMS for this current bond review, it was to bond from
the current size 0.20 acre to 1.0 acre. This will more than encompass the 0.04 acre increase of the
Siberia Project.
Miners Mall proposes to the BLM to approve this Operation Plan Modification pending any payment
required for any bond increase. Miners Mall will not begin operations until BOTH of the following
conditions are met:
-BLM approves this Operational Plan modification
-Miners Mall shows it has met their financial responsibility of the recalculated reclamation bond
with the DRMS
10 Effect of Proposed Reclamation on Public Safety
No unnatural hazards will exist during or after reclamation in the disturbed/reclaimed areas.
