Introduction <br /> The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety(the Division),received an application for <br /> a permit revision to conduct surface coal mining and reclamation operations at the Trapper Mine Inc. <br /> The application was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. (TMI)who operates the mine. The Trapper <br /> mine is located on state and private lands within Moffat County, Colorado. <br /> The review process for permit revisions as well as detailed information concerning the findings of <br /> compliance are described in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act(C.R.S. 34-33-101 <br /> et seq.) and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. Rules <br /> referred to in this document are contained within those regulations. The proposed decision to approve the permit revision application. <br /> 2. A summary constituting: <br /> a. A history of the review of the permit revision application. <br /> b. A description of the environment affected by the operation. <br /> C. A description of the mining and reclamation plan. <br /> 3. The written findings of compliance the Division prepared as required by the <br /> Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. <br /> This permit revision(PR9) application addresses a revision to the mining plan for the remainder of <br /> the 2018-2022 permit term including moving east into the L pit and re-disturbing reclamation <br /> currently in place in the N Pit allowing the company to continue mining and reclamation. <br /> 1 <br />
