22 July 2020 C-1994-082/Yoast Mine RAR <br />REVEGETATION- Rule 4.15 General Requirements 4.15.1 <br />Vegetation on parcels requested for release were dominantly diverse, healthy, and well established. <br />Elymus cinereus (Great basin wild rye), Agropyron smithii (western wheatgrass), Artemisia alnifolia <br />(silver sage), Ericameria nauseosa (Rubber rabbitbrush), Acer negundo (boxelder), Achillea millefolium <br />(western yarrow), Medicago sativa (alfalfa), Linum lewisii (lewis flax), and numerous other desirable <br />species were noted throughout the inspection comprising a mix of forbes, grasses and shrubs. <br />Small weedy areas comprised of Bromus tectorum (cheat grass) or Cirsium arvense (Canada thistle) <br />were noted, Cynoglossum officinale (houndstounge), considered an invasive species was noted <br />throughout the site. Weed treatment was evident throughout the site. <br />All parcels exhibited healthy and diverse vegetation supportive of the permitted land use. <br />o Reclamation and revegetation have been completed at this site. <br />o No extensive areas devoid of vegetation or, expansive areas of weeds were noted at the time of <br />inspection with the exception of instances noted above. <br />o Reclamation appeared stable with well established vegetation some of which was beginning to <br />turn from green to gold and brown. <br />Photo 7: Overview of reclamation looking south west into Pond 12A <br />from parcel 78 and across parcels 80, 82 and 87. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: I <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0 <br />
