23 July 2020 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5) and(6);Reclamation 4.03.1(7)I4.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads dry and smooth. The Haul Road was in good repair and well maintained at the <br /> time of inspection. <br /> o Access roads were passable throughout the site. <br /> o Ditches appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> o The foundations of new haul roads around N pit are under construction. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES—Rule 4.04 <br /> o The Ready Line appeared orderly at the time of inspection. <br /> o The surface of the Ready Line was free of ruts and standing water at the time of inspection. <br /> o The Ash Pit exhibited a soft surface in places with some tire tracks due to the afternoon showers of <br /> the past days. A number of benches are being utilized. No issues were observed requiring <br /> attention at the time of inspection. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE—Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6;Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br /> 4.05.10;Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage-Acid <br /> and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> Unless otherwise noted, pond banks and dams appeared stable at the time of inspection. The following <br /> pond systems were visited or observed from the nearest accessible road: <br /> a) Impoundment H was holding water. <br /> b) West Pyeatt was dry at the time of inspection. <br /> c) East Pyeatt 91 and 92 were discharging at the time of inspection. The spillway at East <br /> Pyeatt 92 appeared clear at the time of inspection. <br /> d) Middle Flume 91 and 93 ponds held water and were not discharging at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> e) East Middle Flume pond held water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> f) East Flume Pond was dry at the time of inspection. <br /> g) Constructed drainages and associated check dams were being repaired in K and L pits. <br /> TOPSOIL—RULE 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4);Storage and Protection 4.06.3;Redistribution 4.06.4 <br /> o No instability or Tilling were noted on the observed topsoil piles. Topsoil piles appeared to be <br /> marked appropriately and adequately vegetated. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—RULE 4.14 <br /> o Backfilling and grading is progressing as permitted. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation appeared to be progressing adequately. <br /> o Revegetation appeared well established throughout the site. <br /> o Small areas of weeds were noted at the time of inspection. <br /> o Cows were grazing in areas on the west end of the site. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0 <br />
