The mine <br />site was not dusty, and Jordan thought themine had received some precipitation the previous weekend. <br />GCC staff are available at the office or working remotely. Jordan noted that 100% of the underground crews are <br />working. <br />Surveying was occurring at the entrance to King I hail road at the close of the inspection. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />Winds were gusty during the inspection. At the King II facilities dust was blowing from the raw coal <br />reject chute. Raw coal reject only discharges sporadically, so blowing dust was not sustained. <br />Although GCC has not yet installed the flaps {(windows) in the clean coal stacker tube, dust was not blowing from <br />the clean coal stacker or clean coal pile. Back in March Wade Had stated that the "windows" had been ordered. <br />With the emergency nationwide shutdowns, delivery of orders may have been delayed. Jordan said he would look <br />into the status of the "windows" for the stacker tube. <br />No blowing of refuse or dusts from the refuse disposal area was visible at the King I area. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Records are kept in the office. The inspector checked the records in an empty office separate form GCC <br />staff, in accordance with new safety protocols. Due to staff having been working remotely for the last couple of <br />months, some of the records were electronic, but not yet printed out and placed in the records notebooks. The <br />Division considers that as long as the operator can show the inspector the electronic record and print them later, <br />that will be acceptable. <br />The majority of the mine records were available and up to date: Items not found in the inspection notebook that <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
