Compliance With Mine Plan <br />NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NA - Other <br />NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA - Processing Waste <br />R - Topsoil <br />This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br />The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br />Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear <br />until about mid day when clouds moved in and temperatures ranged between 60 and 75 degrees <br />Fahrenheit. There was a light breeze. Ash, coal and overburden were being hauled. Haul roads were in <br />good repair and passable. A blast was observed. Blasting and permit records were checked. <br />Development drilling pads near No Name drainage were visited. <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br />o PR9 <br />o TR 124 topo validation <br />o SL 20 to be issued <br />o MR for water quality monitoring wells <br />UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br />o Phase I and II bond release <br />o PR 10 <br />o MR for vegetation standard <br />OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br />None <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED: <br />1. The Elaeagnus angustifolia have been removed around impoundment K <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The Queen Anne was walked to the N pit in late May and is operating there now. One dragline is <br />operating, casting spoil in the L pit; and one dragline is idle, with the boom down getting maintenance. <br />Activities in the L and N pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. Overburden was <br />being hauled and placed in benches at the time of inspection. Coal and ash were being hauled. It has <br />been very dry and some dust rose over the road as equipment worked. No offsite air quality or hydrologic <br />issues were observed at the time of inspection <br />SIGNS and MARKERS — Rule 4.02 <br />o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />
