Reclamation Timetable and Sequence
This exhibit is unchanged from the currently approved permit. Information for this exhibit can be
found in the following locations of the existing permit file:
112c Amendment E 4.Reclamation E-3 2013-06-18 REVISION-M1987164(5) 06/18/2013' 1
Application Timetable
I
5. Revegetation Plans
The final reclaimed use for the Hayden Gravel Pits is dryland pasture and hay meadows. Map F-
1 shows the revegetation areas. The scale house area will be reclaimed similar to the mining pit
areas. Access roads will remain.
If the stockpile remains more than one growing season, it will be seeded with a fast growing
vegetative cover to prevent erosion. All topsoil will be retained on-site to reclaim the areas
disturbed by mining activities. Approximately 12 inches of topsoil will placed on the
appropriate areas during final reclamation.
Once mining operations are completed, areas for reclamation will be graded and shaped for
revegetation. Maximum reclaimed slopes will not exceed 3:1 to ensure slope stability. The
Camillettis currently harvests the previously reclaimed pit slopes and adjacent cropland. These
areas have been seeded with an alfalfa mix(Table E-3). Dryland pasture areas have a different
seed mix (Table E-2).
Hayden Gravel Pit E-2 Greg 1s icki and Associates.PLO'
May 2020
