The site is located near the community of Hayden, Colorado, a Home Rule Municipality in Routt
County, Colorado. A legal description is shown on Map C-1 which is included in Appendix 2. A
general location map is enclosed in Exhibit B which indicates the mine entrance coordinates.
1. Legal Description—Permit Boundary
The Hayden Gravel Pit is located approximately 2.2 miles east of Hayden, Colorado in part of
the Southwest Quarter(SW'/4) of the Northwest Quarter(NW 1/4) of Section 12, Township 6
North, Range 88 West, 61h Principal Meridian (PM), Routt County, Colorado. The pit is situated
at an approximate elevation of 6445 feet.
